Giampaolo Betta is a Mechanical Engineer with a PhD in Food Science and Technology. He is consultant for the food-pharma-cosmetic industry and for manufacturers of equipment and other related products, with more than 10 years experience. Expert in Food Safety and Hygienic Design, he is the Chairman of the Italian Section of the European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group (EHEDG) since its foundation in 2007 and he is EHEDG Authorized Trainer. He is member of the Food Technology Unit of the Dept. of Food Science of the University of Parma since 2005 and he is contract Professor at the Industrial Engineering Dept. of the University of Parma since 2009.
He offers design audits for food processing equipment with a focus on hygienic design, microbiological safety and cleanability, and support for design of new equipment and processes.
