Jeroen Knol is the Director of the European Federation of Food Science and Technology (EFFoST). He is the Editor in Chief of the Taste of Science, a free online magazine about innovation in the food industry. From 2012 to 2013, he was the Senior Scientist of Food Design & Structuring, Food & Biobased Research Wageningen UR.
Consumer Studies, Food Chemistry, Food Quality and Safety, Food Sciences, Food Technology, Human Nutrition, Marketing, Mechanistic modelling, Empirical modelling, Food Analysis (HPLC, GC-MS), Food Processing. He is coordinating several multi-disciplinary projects on sustainable and healthy foods including setting up of pilot productions, coordination of experiments, consumer research, supply chain management and technological developments.
