Professor V.K. Modi Graduated in Food Science and Technology (1981) and Ph.D (1986) from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. In 1987 he joined CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore and worked 30 years in the area of Food Science and Technology. He did Post Doctorate UNU–fellowship at University of Nottingham, UK, University of Reading, UK and Queen’s University of Belfast, Northern Ireland (1993).
