Biography
Olivia received her Degree in Chemistry in 1999 and holds a Master’s Degree in Food Science and Technology in 2006, both from Southern National University (UNS) of BahÃa Blanca, Argentina. In 2011, she got a doctor degree (PhD) of the Exact Science Faculty of National University of La Plata (UNLP). Her research is focuses on the development, characterization, and application of biodegradable films based on bio-based polymers. Her workplace is the Chemical Engineering Pilot Plant (PLAPIQUI), an institute that depends on the National Council of Technical and Scientific Research (CONICET) and the Southern National University (UNS).
Research Interest
Active biodegradable packaging with antimicrobial capacity, selective gases permeability, and UV barrier properties for food products and colored beverages.
